How do I install the Grip Strip Mound Saver? Find the pitching rubber. Under the mound where the pitching rubber is located are three nylon bolts. Unscrew those bolts and remove the pitching rubber. Place the Grip Strip Mound Saver on top of the pitching mound careful to align all three holes where the bolts will thread through and connect to the pitching rubber. The grip should go in front of the pitching rubber where a pitcher would place his back foot. Replace the pitching rubber and tighten the nylon bolts.
