FAQs

Can I just use the Flatwork in place of a pitching mound?
Leadoff Baseball does not recommend using our Flatwork Pitching Bump in place of a pitching mound. It is a transitional tool to help pitchers develop specific mechanics without the variability that a regulation slope of a pitching mound provides. A full throwing program should always include throwing from a pitching mound for the best performance come gameday.

Will my foot fit on this product?
Absolutely! Tested with 8U pitchers all the way to full grown adults with a size 14 shoe the Flatwork will accommodate any size foot. 

Where do I put my foot/feet on this product?
Initially, some athletes get confused on the placement of their foot/feet. While we know many pitchers prefer to align their foot from the far left or to the far right side of the pitching rubber, we know that is for optimizing their arm path. While using Flatwork the small size is easily moved to a pitchers preferred location. We recommend centering your foot on the pitching rubber while using this product and focusing on the specific mechanics you are working on.
